Last Memorial Day we suggested spring wines perfect for BBQ sipping and a white peach sangria recipe, here. This year our refreshing spring martinis are perfect for your weekend in the sun.
Cucumber Elderflower Martini - Muddle cucumber in a shaker then add ice, 1 oz. Hendrick’s Gin, 3/4 oz. St-Germain Liqueur and 1 oz. fresh ruby red grapefruit juice. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a cucumber wheel. If you’re feeling adventurous, add a sprig of cilantro when muddling the cucumber.
Passion Fruit Martinis – Simplify preparation for your BBQ by planning ahead with a pitcher (or three) of pre-made martinis. In a large pitcher filled with ice, add 4 c. Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, 8 tbsp. Cointreau Liqueur, 48 oz. white cranberry juice and 48 oz. passion fruit juice. Stir briskly and strain as you pour into cocktail glasses with ice.
Pickles are a great compliment to BBQ foods and can be used in cocktails too! Visit our pickle cocktails post for a Pickle Martini recipe and Pickle-Back shooter.
